2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections-25(1-b)a, 26 of the Arms Act.

3. As per FIR, on the tip off, the informant with police personnel raided the house of the petitioner. It is further alleged that seeing the police party, he tried to flee away but on chase, he was apprehended. He disclosed his name as Rohit Kumar @ Bangali Yadav and on search, a loaded country-made pistol and a live cartridge was recovered from his possession.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that it is true that there

5. The petitioner was arrested while he was attempting to flee away and a loaded country-made pistol with a live cartridge was recovered from his possession. Admittedly, he has nine criminal antecedent in his credit.

5. Learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, particularly, the criminal antecedent of nine cases, the petitioner does not deserve the privilege of bail.

7. Accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner in connection with Udwantnagar P.S. Case No. 354 of 2023 stands rejected.
