2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Kanti P.S. Case No. 407/2023 lodged on 05.06.2023 under Section 395/397 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, F.I.R. has been lodged against four named accused persons including the present petitioner against whom there is an allegation of committing dacoity from the Office of the informant who have looted 27,42,000/- from the locker and in addition to that laptop of the informant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Counsel also submits that the name of the petitioner has been figured in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.44376 of 2024(2) dt.20-07-2024 2/2 this case only by virtue of confessional statement of the accused. Counsel further submits that the criminal antecedent of the petitioner is not clean and there are four cases pending against him in which he is on bail. The petitioner is remanded in this case on since 14.06.2023.

5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that in the rejection order it has been categorically mentioned about Rs. 3,00,890/- and one Kilo Charas like material has been recovered from other accused person.

6. In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, the bail application of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
