This writ application has been filed on behalf of the petitioner for the following reliefs:- (i) For issuance of mandamus to the respondent authorities especially for the praying for the constitution of a Medical Board by an independent authority to verify the alleged grievous injuries stated in the injury report forming

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1220 of 2025(2) dt.26-06-2025 2/2 the basis of prosecution in Mehsi P.S. Case No. 141/2024, dated 16.09.2024, under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 109, 303(2), 352, 351(2), 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

(ii) Further be pleased to direct the Superintendent of Police, Motihari, as well as the Officer-in-Charge of Mehsi Police Station to investigate the matter and to move for the constitution of a Medical Board for verification of the Injury Report relied upon in Mehsi P.S. Case No. 141/2024, registered under the B.N.S., 2023, on grounds of fabrication and contradictions. (iii) And further be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to cause an investigation by competent officials into the conduct of the informant, Kumar Vinay Krishna, in connection with the matter.

3. The petitioner is an accused and he cannot dictate the investigation.
