The petitioner being the husband of the informant is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A and 494/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The basic accusation is of torture and performing second marriage.
The petitioner and the informant are present in the Court.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21880 of 2015 (6) dt.15-12-2015 2/2 petitioner admits his marriage with the informant and performance of the second marriage, hence, reconciliation is not feasible at present. However, counsel for the informant submits that the informant is still ready to resume the conjugal life. In the circumstances, let the learned court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner, if the petitioner surrenders before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Harsidhi P.S. Case No. 242 of 2014 pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari. Accordingly, this application is disposed of. (Dinesh Kumar Singh, J) DKS/- U T
