Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 399, 402 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 25(1-b)a/26/35 of the Arms Act. The petitioner was apprehended on suspicion that he was preparing to commit dacoity along with other named accused persons. From possession of the petitioner, a country made loaded pistol was recovered. Petitioner has got two more criminal cases as antecedent. Petitioner is in custody since 06.11.2017.

Considering the entire facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after one year of custody if the trial is not concluded in the meantime on

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16223 of 2018 (4) dt.26-06-2018 2/2 furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Laxamipur Police Station Case No. 258 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
