This is an application for bail in connection with Jokihat P.S.Case No. 345 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 394 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code. Petitioner is not named in the FIR but later on his name transpires during course of investigation. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that name of the petitioner transpires in this case on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused. So far criminal antecedent is concerned, it has been submitted that he is on bail in those cases. Heard learned APP, who has opposed the prayer for bail stating that petitioner has criminal antecedents also. Having heard both sides and considering the aforesaid

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.13921 of 2017 (3) dt.20-04-2017 2/2 facts and also considering the fact that petitioner has criminal antecedents, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Prayer for bail is rejected.
