It appears on perusal of the reliefs prayed in the writ application that the petitioner is seeking a direction in the nature of a writ of mandamus to respondent nos.4 to 6 who are the police officials in the District of Gopalganj to give response to the application said to have been submitted by the petitioner on 22.04.2020 and 18.05.2020 against the named accused persons. It further appears that the petitioner has got a land dispute with her father-in-law and other co-sharers for which a Title Partition

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.45 of 2021(2) dt.23-06-2022 2/2 Suit No.82 of 2018 has been registered and an interim order has been passed in the said case.

Regarding the alleged occurrence, the petitioner claims to have submitted an application to the S.H.O. of the police station. In paragraph '14' of the writ application, a statement has been made that " due to lockdown situation the petitioner is unable to file petition before learned C.J.M., Gopalganj for seeking reliefs under Sections 190 and 156(3) Cr.P.C."

This Court is of the considered opinion that the petitioner has an adequate and equally efficacious remedy available to her and the courts at Gopalganj are very much functioning and available to the petitioner to seek redressal of her grievance, if any.

This writ application is, thus, disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to seek her remedy before the court of competent jurisdiction in accordance with law.
