The petitioner seeks bail in Islampur P.S. Case No. 346/2016, registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(K) of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016. The police raided the house of the petitioner and from the possession of the petitioner 66.360 litres of different brands of Indian made foreign liquor was recovered.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the house is in joint possession of the family members including the petitioner. The petitioner is in jail since 31.12.2016. The petitioner has already remained in jail for three months. Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that for recovery of 66 litres of Indian made foreign liquor the petitioner

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.12539 of 2017 (2) dt.27-03-2017 has already remained in jail for three months, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hilsa, Nalanda in connection with Islampur P.S. Case No. 346/2016.
