====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 20-06-2018 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State.

The petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Special Case No. 21 of 206, arising out of Khagaria P.S. Case No. 713 of 2016 registered under Sections 8/20 (b)(ii)(c) of the NDPS Act.

Allegation in brief is that 20 kgs of ganja was recovered from possession of the petitioner.

Submission is that two persons were going on the motorcycle and 20 kgs of ganja is alleged to have been recovered. The petitioner is in custody since 26.12.2016. However, status report of the trial court indicates that six prosecution witnesses have already been examined. Having considered the aforesaid facts and

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18865 of 2018(4) dt.20-06-2018 2/2 circumstances, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected and the trial court is directed to conclude the trial preferably within six months.
