The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 44 of 2019 registered under Sections 341, 498(A), 323, 504 and 494/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act pending in the Court of S.D.J.M., Supaul.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner.

Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36670 of 2020(4) dt.25-10-2021 2/2 opposed the prayer of the petitioner by contending that the petitioner is the husband of opposite party no. 2. There is specific allegation of demand of dowry and torture against the petitioner. Further submission is that petitioner is married to another lady. Hence, this is not a fit case for anticipatory bail. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
