2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 326, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. As per prosecution case, this petitioner along with one other F.I.R. named accused person killed the daughter of the informant due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

4. Petitioner is mother-in-law of the deceased.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that thrust of accusation is against husband of the deceased. Petitioner is separate in mess and property and is not concerned

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39963 of 2023(3) dt.21-09-2023 2/2 with family affairs of the couple. As a matter of fact, the deceased died due to accidental fire during cooking.

6. Learned counsel for the informant opposes the bail application and submits that there is specific accusation that this petitioner along with his son set the deceased on fire resulting in her death.

7. Considering the nature of allegation and gravity of the offence, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is refused.
