The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sandesh P.S. Case No. 141 of 2020 dated 01.05.2020 instituted for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 324, 325, 307, 302 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
Though the petitioner has been named in the FIR but no overt act has been attributed against him. The allegation of assaulting the deceased and the injured persons are on Vijay Singh and Manjay Singh respectively.
Considering the aforenoted nature of accusation, one of the accused persons of this case,
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36503 of 2020(2) dt.30-01-2021 2/2 similarly situated, has been granted bail by this Court. The petitioner is in custody since 02.05.2020. In the same transaction, another case under the Arms Act has been registered against the petitioner. Considering the aforementioned aspects of the matter, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Ara in connection with Sandesh P.S. Case No. 141 of 2020.
