The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Dighalbank P.S. Case No. 100 of 2019 dated 26.11.2019 instituted for the offence under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has not been named in the FIR but his implication in the present case is on the basis of his selfconfession which was recorded in another case in which the petitioner was in custody.

The petitioner in this case is in custody since 15.05.2020.

Regard being had to the nature of accusation against the petitioner and his period of custody, he is
