2. The petitioner is in judicial custody in connection with S.Tr. No. 100 of 2023 with Gaurichak P.S. Case No. 572 of 2021 for the offence punishable under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code lodged on 24.12.2021 by the informant, Kunti Devi.

3. As per the prosecution story, the allegation is that the petitioner killed his own mother using stick. The informant is sister-in-law of the petitioner. Accordingly, the FIR.

4. In this case, Trial Court Report was called for which has come. According to the report, the trial is on and one of the witnesses have been examined.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is in custody for long.

6. Mr. Jitendra Kumar Singh, learned APP opposes the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45478 of 2025(6) dt.14-11-2025 2/2 prayer submitting that allegation against the petitioner is of killing his own mother.

7. Considering the submissions of the parties as also the materials on record , no second thought is required.

8. The bail application is rejected.

9. However, since the petitioner is in custody, the Trial Court is directed to ensure that the trial is expedited and is concluded preferably within a period of nine months. (Rajiv Roy, J) Vijay Singh/- U T
