Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bodh Gaya P.S. Case No. 240 of 2016 registered under Sections- 376 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that occurrence is alleged to have taken place on 20.05.2016 whereas written complaint has been filed on 03.07.2016 without explaining the delay. The present case has been manufactured to put undue pressure to agree for marriage of the informant's daughter with this petitioner. Prior to filing of the present first information report, informant had also filed another

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.15530 of 2017 (2) dt.20-04-2017 2/2 first information report (Annexure-2); however he did not alleged any physical relation with this petitioner. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 30.01.2017. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gaya in connection with Bodh Gaya P.S. Case No. 240 of 2016.
