Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Excise Case No. 7 of 2017 registered under Sections- 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no concern with the alleged recovery as he was only a passenger on the Tempo and the alleged recovered materials do not belong to the petitioner. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 04.01.2017. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand)
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.4223 of 2017 (2) dt.08-03-2017 2/2 with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kaimur (Bhabua) in connection with Excise Case No. 7 of 2017.
