1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 379 and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a person with clean antecedent and the informant alleges that petitioner on order of Suresh assaulted him by knife repeatedly causing injury on head and snatched Rs.5,000/- from his pocket and thereafter Sachidanand and Shankar also assauted the informant by knife causing injury on head.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in the instant case by the informant. It is further submitted that from side of the petitioner

It is next submitted that from perusal of the injury report of the injured, it would manifest that the same records that the injured suffered four wound on parietal region which were sutured but then submits that the injury has been opined to be simple in nature.

Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner and submits that the case is of the year 2022 and the petitioner has moved for anticipatory bail in the year 2026 and specific allegation is alleged against the petitioner of assaulting the informant by knife causing injury on head and from perusal of the injury report, it would manifest that the informant suffered three injuries on head. It is further submitted that the knife is a dangerous weapon and head is vital part of the body. It is next submitted that if the privilege of anticipatory bail is granted to the petitioner, the petitioner may abscond.

6. Considering the submissions made by the learned A.P.P. for the State, the Court is not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with Laukaha P.S. Case No. 158 of 2022 pending in the Court of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Jhanjarpur,
