2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 103(1) and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023.
3. The case of the prosecution, in short, is that two unknown miscreants have killed a lady. The FIR has been lodged by the local Chowkidar, who, upon reaching the place of occurrence, found two boys crying there. The boys were identified as Sonu Kumar and Monu Kumar. During the course of investigation, the said boys gave their statements and stated that they had identified one of the assailants as Karu Kumar.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He also

No.41003 of 2026(2) dt.25-06-2026 2/3 submits that the name of the petitioner has surfaced during the course of investigation on the basis of the confessional statement of co-accused Karu Kumar. He also submits that, according to the confessional statement of Karu Kumar, the petitioner remained outside the house in a vehicle, while the other accused persons entered the house and allegedly shot the deceased dead. Learned counsel further submits that, save and except the confessional statement of the co-accused, there is no material on record to connect the petitioner with the alleged occurrence. It is also submitted that the main allegations are against co-accused Karu Kumar and another accused person. Moreover, the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 12.12.2025.
5. Learned APP appearing for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer of regular bail and submits that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent of two cases.
6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Noorsarai P.S. Case No. 73 of 2025 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount
