Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Bhaptiyahi P.S. Case No.31 of 2013 registered under Sections 304(B) and 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation in brief is that the petitioner killed his wife on account of non-fulfillment of further demand of dowry by strangulating her.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as per allegation marriage was solemnized six years back, earlier there was no complaint asking for further dowry and no external injuries were found on the person of the deceased in the postmortem report rather the deceased committed suicide as she was issueless.

No.19058 of 2018(5) dt.16-07-2018 2/2 Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, petitioner Mahiram Mukhiya is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Supaul in connection with Bhaptiyahi P.S. Case No.31 of 2013.
