Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections 304B, 201/34 of Indian Penal Code.
It is submitted by the petitioner's counsel that there is general and omnibus allegation against the accused persons and that petitioner, at that point of time, was living in Allahabad and he has been implicated on suspicion.
This Court finds that the victim has died in her matrimonial home under suspicious circumstance. Petitioner, being the husband, has prime responsibility for the safety of the victim.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16883 of 2018 (3) dt.27-04-2018 2/2 Considering the nature of the allegations that the victim was done to death while she was pregnant, this Court, for the present, is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Prayer of petitioner for bail is rejected.
Learned Court below may proceed with the trial expeditiously.
