.... .... Opposite Party ====================================================== Appearance :
For the Petitioner : Mr. Satyavrat Verma, Adv. For the Opposite Party : Mr. Matloob Rab, APP 34 ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE BIRENDRA KUMAR ORAL ORDER 01-05-2017 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.
This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offences under Sections 406 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation against the petitioner, who was agent of non-banking institution, is that he collected installment from different distributors and fled away with that. I do not find any merit in the submission of the petitioner, that in fact the petitioner was kidnapped while going to deposit the money in some bank at Motihari, because no first information report was lodged of the occurrence.
Considering the nature of allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.13210 of 2017 (3) dt.01-05-2017 2/2 on bail.
The prayer for bail is refused.
The petitioner may renew prayer for bail if the trial is not concluded within six months, from the date of receipt of this order.
