The petitioner is in custody in connection with Barauni (F.C.I.) P.S. Case No. 70 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 20 and 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the instant case total 2 Kg Ganga was recovered from the bag of the accused persons. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 15.2.2019.

Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35522 of 2019(2) dt.30-05-2019 2/2 antecedent and quantity of Ganga recovered in the instant case, the Court is inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Let the petitioner named above be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Learned District & Sessions Judge, Begusarai in connection with Barauni (F.C.I.) P.S. Case No. 70 of 2019.
