The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Singhwara P.S. Case No. 17 of 2017, registered under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468 and 471 of Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of ACJM-IV, Darbhanga.

The accusation is that co-accused Md. Fazal had applied for making of passport in the Passport Office, Patna. In course of verification, informant did not find any person with the name of Md. Fazal, son of Sheikh Safi Alam, Resident of Gaurinath Brahampura, P.S. Sidhwara, District-Darbhanga in the said village. On 03.02.2017, Md. Fazal come to the informant along with the documents and this petitioner identified him as Md. Fazal, but it was detected that Md. Fazal is son of Md. Sabeer and he applied for making of Passport with false parentage.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.15145 of 2017 (2) dt.27-04-2017 2/2 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in this case. Further submission is that petitioner is in custody since 03.02.2017.

Learned counsel for the State vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, prayer of the petitioner, above named, is rejected at present.
