Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Jamui PS Case No.399 of 2017, registered under Sections 147/148/149/341/323/324/307 and 354 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation in brief is that on teasing a girl, this occurrence is alleged to have taken place and the specific overt act against the petitioner is that he assaulted the brother-in-law (Bhainsur) of the informant giving iron rod blow. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation of assaulting Umesh Rawat is against two persons but only one injury is found on the person of Umesh Rawat and without any X-ray opinion of injury is given as grievous.

No.12796 of 2018(3) dt.20-04-2018 2/2 Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, petitioner Sanjay Rawat is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Jamui in connection with Jamui PS Case No.399 of 2017.
