JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 07-04-2021 Heard Mr. Vasant Vikas, learned Advocate for the petitioner and the learned APP for the State. The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Sonepur P.S. Case No. 141 of 2020, dated 18.02.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 447, 384, 379, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 37(C) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36864 of 2020(2) dt.07-04-2021 2/3 The accusation against the petitioner and others is of taking away the personal belongings of the informant; demanding rangdari from him and displaying drunken behaviour.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that all the accusations in the F.I.R. are absolutely false and concocted. In fact, the petitioner had filed a case against the informant and others vide Sonepur P.S. Case No. 148 of 2020 and the present case is only a fallout and a sequel to the aforesaid case.

Regard being had to the nature of accusation which is of general and omnibus nature and taking into account the fact that in one case in which the petitioner was earlier made accused, he is on police bail, he, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of eight weeks, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Addl.
