This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offences under Sections 376, 511 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and 8 and 18 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.

Allegation against the petitioner is that he along with other attempted to commit rape against the informant.

Submission of the petitioner is that there is case and counter case. The petitioner is in custody since 23.11.2016. The matter is of love affairs. However, under pressure of the family members, the victim-girl lodged the case.

Considering the facts and circumstances specially

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.12836 of 2017 (5) dt.09-05-2017 2/2 the period already undergone, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Ariari (Kasar) P.S. Case No. 159 of 2016 to the satisfaction of the Additional District Judge, I, Sheikhpura, or successor Court.
