The petitioner seeks bail in Gurua P.S. Case No. 37/2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 385, 387 of the Indian Penal Code and section 17 of C.L.A. Act. The informant lodged the case for demand of extortion against unknown.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. Name of the petitioner figured in the case during the course of investigation at the instance of the police. The police apprehended the petitioner and implicated him in many other cases in which petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. The petitioner is in jail since 17.10.2016.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above-

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14947 of 2017 (2) dt.20-04-2017 named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Sherghati Gaya in connection with Gurua P.S.
