Petitioner is in custody in connection with Rupaspur P.S. Case No. 492 of 2019 for the offence under sections 4498(A), 323, 379 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is husband.

Allegation against this petitioner is that he was involved in dowry related torture to his wife. Counsel for the petitioner submits that in fact the wife is not wiling to amicable stay with the petitioner and that is the

The petitioner is in custody since 17.6.2020. Considering the statement at par, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 50,000/- (Fifty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Danapur, Patna, in connection with Rupaspur P.S. Case No. 492 of 2019.

The court below is directed to refere the matter to the District Mediation Centre and the District Mediation Centre shall endeavor to settle the dispute between husband and wife amicably.
