Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under sections 387, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act. Petitioner is in jail custody since 24.12.2015 on the accusation that he along with one co- accused demanded extortion money from the informant but admittedly, informant did not make payment of single farthing nor sustained any injury. No doubt, petitioner carries criminal antecedent but it is admitted position that the petitioner is neighbour of the informant. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gaya in Civil Line P.S. Case no. 455/2015.
