2. The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Maniyari P.S. Case No. 409 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 272, 273, 420, 468, 471, 120B of the Indian Penal Code and 30(a), 32(2) (3), 41 (1)(2) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the recovery is of 4637 liters of illicit liquor.

4. The petitioner has been named in the confessional statement of the co-accused.

5. Considering the quantum of recovery, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.

7. The petitioner is directed to surrender within four weeks from today and pray for regular bail.
