The petitioner is in judicial custody in connection with Parihar P.S. Case No. 221 of 2021 for the offences under Sections 341,323 and 376/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of POCSO Act.

As per the prosecution story, the victim lady has alleged that on the pretext of marriage, the petitioner sexually assaulted her regularly for last one year and lastly upon pressure to get the marriage solemnized, he backed out. In this way, she has alleged that the petitioner exploited and ravaged her. Accordingly, the F.I.R was lodged.

No.40035 of 2022(2) dt.13-10-2022 2/2 Taking into account the allegation that has come in the F.I.R by the informant against the petitioner including the fact that the age of the victim has been found to be 17-19 years, this Court is not inclined to grant him privilege of bail and his prayer for bail is accordingly rejected.

The learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same preferably within a period of nine months.
