The petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted for the offences under Sections 47 and 57 of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

Allegation has been made that petitioner was holding 11 liters of liquor after implementation of law of prohibition by the State. Petitioner is in jail since 1.5.2016. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, let petitioner, Subodh Choudhary, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Banka in connection with Amarpur P.S.
