2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Amarpur P.S. Case No. 143 of 2025 dated 02.03.2025 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 80(2) read with Section 3(5) of B.N.S.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and the co-accused persons are alleged to have committed murder of the informant's daughter due to non-fulfillment of demand of Rs. 1 lakh as dowry.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. There is no specific allegation against the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.37473 of 2025(2) dt.02-07-2025 2/2 rather the allegation against the petitioner is general and omnibus in nature. The petitioner is the mother-in-law of the deceased and the husband of the deceased is in judicial custody. The petitioner neither demanded any dowry nor tortured the deceased. The petitioner has no concern with the alleged offence. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner, in the event of his arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court concerned, Banka in connection with Amarpur P.S. Case No. 143 of 2025, subject to conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of the B.N.S.S.

7. The application stands allowed.
