Petitioners seek bail in Case No. C-2/218 of 2019 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 pending in the Court of the ADJ II cum Special Judge, Excise Act, Sitamarhi. It has been alleged that total 576 litres Nepali liquor has been recovered from possession of the petitioners. Counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are in custody since 24.04.2019.
In the circumstances, this Court is not inclined to
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.37547 of 2019(2) dt.24-06-2019 2/2 enlarge the petitioners on bail at this stage. Prayer of the petitioners for grant of bail is rejected at this stage.
Liberty is given to the petitioners to renew their prayer for bail after completing six months in custody. (Sanjay Priya, J) J. Alam/- U T
