Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39376 of 2025(4) dt.01-12-2025 2/3 ORAL ORDER 01-12-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.P.P. for the State (in both cases).
2. The petitioners (in both cases) apprehend their arrest in a case, registered for the offence under Section 103(2), 80, 238(a) of the B.N.S., 2023.
3. As per prosecution case, daughter of informant was married with co-accused Guddu Singh 7 years ago and from the wedlock, three children were born. She alleged that one year after the marriage, her daughter was subjected to cruelty and harassment by the accused persons for dowry and ultimately, on 08.02.2025, informant received an information that the accused persons had killed her daughter.
4. In Cr.Misc. No. 39376 of 2025, petitioner no. 1 is mother-in-law, petitioner no. 2 is father-in-law, petitioner no. 3 is married Nanad, petitioner no. 4 is Nandoi (husband of petitioner no. 3) and petitioner no. 5 is Devar of the deceased, whereas in Cr.Misc. No. 42266 of 2025, petitioner no. 1 is uncle-in-law (Fufa) and petitioner no. 2 is aunt-in-law (Fua) of the deceased. There is general and omnibus allegation. Thrust of the accusation is against husband of the deceased, who is already in custody. Petitioners are separate in mess and property and have got no concern with the family affairs of deceased and

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioners.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, both the anticipatory bail petitions are allowed. Let the petitioners, as named in aforesaid two bail petitions, in the event of arrest/surrender within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran, Bettiah in connection with Majhauliya P.S. Case No. 101 of 2025, subject to condition as laid down under Section 482 of the B.N.S.S., 2023.
