Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 307 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code, Section 3⁄4 of Damage to Property Act and Section 61 of Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016. Petitioner is named in the first information report but no specific overt-act has been attributed against him. Moreover, having similar allegation, several co-accused have already been granted either privilege of regular bail or anticipatory bail.
