The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Pranpur (Roshna) P.S. Case No. 25 of 2016 registered under Sections 341, 323, 379, 504 and 384/34 of the Indian Penal Code pending in the court of A.C.J.M.-I, Katihar.
The accusation is that the two trucks, which was coming from Bangal when crossed the village Babupur on NH 81 then three persons stopped the both trucks and demanded Rs.1000/- as ransom. When the informant made protest, he was pulled out from truck. At that time, the petitioner snatched Rs.1100/- from his pocket using filthy language. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34056 of 2016 (2) dt.26-08-2016 case and the nature of allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for grant of anticipatory bail stands rejected. However, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Court below within four weeks and prayer for regular bail, which shall be considered by the trial court in accordance with law without being prejudiced by the order of this Court.
