2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner submitted that the petitioner is entitled to receive disability pension on his invalidation recommended by

Patna High Court CWJC No.15454 of 2021 dt.01-05-2023 2/3 Invalidation Board on 11.11.2009. He further informs that the case of the petitioner has been recommended by D.I.G. Group Centre, Ranchi to be considered by Directorate, CRPF, New Delhi vide letter dated 17.03.2023 for making payment. He submits that the case of the petitioner is similar to the case of Ashadhya Sahu, who has been paid the disability pension.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf respondent submitted that it is admitted fact that the D.I.G, Group Centre, Ranchi has recommended the case of the petitioner for payment of disability pension to the Directorate, CRPF, New Delhi vide letter dated 17.03.2023. He further submitted that similarly situated disabled person namely Ahadhya Sahu has been granted disability pension with effect from the date he was declared invalidate.

Considering the admitted position that the case of the petitioner for granting him disability pension is now before the Directorate, CRPF, New Delhi, this Court directs the Directorate, CRPF, New Delhi to take final decision for making payment of disability pension to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order. The Directorate, CRPF, New Delhi must ensure that the order is complied within the aforesaid period.

5. With the above observation and direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
