2. The petitioner seeks bail in Riga P.S. Case No. 447 of 2024 registered under Sections 103 and 123 of the BNS.

3. The allegation is that the petitioner poisoned his son and daughter aged about 8 and 6 years respectively. The daughter subsequently died.

4. Considering that the trial has proceeded and two witnesses have been examined, this court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

6. The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude positively within a period of three

7. It is made clear that any observation made herein is prima facie in nature and limited solely for the purpose of adjudication of the present bail application.
