1. Rambali Sahni, Son of Laxman Sahni, Resident of Village Kushahar, P.S. Tariyani Distt. Sheohar .... Petitioner
Versus
1. The State of Bihar .... Opposite Party ====================================================== Appearance :
For the Petitioner : Mr. Virendra Kumar, Adv. For the Opposite Party : Mr. Sanjay Kumar, APP 127 ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE BIRENDRA KUMAR ORAL ORDER 12-04-2017 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.
This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offences under Sections 307, 326, 324, 341, 147, 349, 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner is alleged to have caused injury by acid to Heera Kumari at left upper thigh, chest, abdomen, both cheeks, four head and fore-arm.
Submission of the petitioner is that the injuries found were simple in nature and co-accused, Awadhesh Jha, has already been allowed bail by this Court. The petitioner is in custody since 19.12.2016 Considering the nature of allegation against the petitioner and nature of injuries found, the case of the petitioner is distinguishable from Awadhesh Jha, hence, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The prayer for bail is refused.
The learned trial Court is directed to expedite the trial.
