====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 14-09-2022 The present writ petition has been filed inter alia praying therein for directing the Respondent Authorities to make payment of the Family Pension.

The learned counsel, appearing for the respondent State, has submitted by referring to the counter affidavit filed by the State that the name of the petitioner has been wrongly mentioned in the PPO issued by the office of the Accountant General, Bihar, Patna, as Sarita Devi instead of Sharifa Devi.

Patna High Court CWJC No.15434 of 2021(4) dt.14-09-2022 2/2 Nonetheless, the respondents have written a letter to the office of the Accountant General, Bihar, Patna dated 17.08.2022, requesting for making necessary correction in the PPO. As far as the respondent bank is concerned, it is stated that as soon as the revised/corrected PPO is received by the bank, the entire payment on the head of the Family Pension shall be paid forthwith.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the present writ petition stands disposed off with a direction to the respondent State to pursue the matter with the office of the Accountant General, Bihar, Patna and ensure that the revised/ corrected PPO is issued within a period of 4 weeks from today, whereupon the respondent bank shall release the amount of Family Pension forthwith.
