The petitioner seeks bail in Makhdumpur P.S. Case No. 305 of 2016 under Section 135 of the Indian Electricity Act. The petitioner was found illegally consuming electric energy by connecting three phase L.T. line. It is alleged that the petitioner caused loss of Rs. 2,95,940/- to the company. The petitioner was arrested by the raiding party on the date of institution of the case, but again the petitioner surrendered in the court on 16.1.2017 and since then the petitioner is in jail. The learned counsel for the company has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner is not ready to pay

Considering the aforesaid fact and circumstances, and the fact that the petitioner is in jail for more than two and half months, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge (Electricity) Magadha Area, Gaya in Makhdumpr P.S. Case No. 305 of 2016.
