The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Patepur P.S. Case No. 12 of 2017, registered under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. In course of investigation, Police apprehended the petitioner and got recorded his confessional statement showing his involvement in the present case, except the confessional statement nothing has been collected by the I.O of this case. Further submission is that informant of this case claimed to identify the culprits on seeing them again, but he was not put on T.I.P, while petitioner is in custody since 12.02.2017.
