In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Karja P.S. Case No. 173 of 2018 registered for offence punishable under sections 399, 402, 414, 279, 427 of the Indian Penal Code.

The police received information that some accused persons have assembled to commit robbery, on that basis, the police came in motion and reached to Bhagwanpur bridge and where they got secret information that two cars have been seen towards Rewa Road. The police party followed to them. The accused persons, on seeing the police party, tried to flee away from there, but they met with an accident. On chase, two persons, namely, Mukund Kumar and Aditya Kumar were

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that save and except the confessional statement, no one has seen the petitioner to flee away from there.

The petitioner has criminal history.

Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and accordingly his prayer for bail is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders and prays for regular bail, the court below without being prejudiced by this order, will take decision in accordance with law.
