Petitioner is accused in connection with Salimpur P.S. Case No. 11 of 2019 registered under Sections 302 and 120(B)/34 of the I.P.C.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that earlier prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail was twice rejected by this court vide orders dated 11.09.2019 and 01.12.2021 with direction to the trial court to conclude the trial within a period of six months but the same has not yet been concluded. Petitioner is in custody since 14.01.2021. The report of the trial court dated 22.08.2022 (flagA) shows that the trial is in progress and the non-bailable warrant has already been issued for production of the witnesses.
