1. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to add the District Commandant, Home Guard, Sheikhpura, as party respondent no.5 to the present writ petition. Liberty so sought is granted.

2. Let the needful be done during the course of the day.

3. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. For issuance of an appropriate writ in the

Patna High Court CWJC No.15371 of 2021(2) dt.17-02-2024 2/3 nature of MANDAMUS commanding and directing the respondent authorities to pay the amount Rs. 1.5 lac to the petitioners in view of the order dated 9-1-2020 passed by respondent No-3 as contained in his Memo No-93 dated 8-1-2020 communicated to different authorities including all the District Commandant.

ii. Further for direction respondent authorities to to the take judicious decision in view of the order dated 8-1-2020 passed by the respondent No-3 on the basis of which petitioners have filed their respective executive representation through registered post on 11-5- 2021 and thereafter pay the amount of Rs. 1.5 lac to the petitioners with statutory as well as penal interest over delayed payment."

4. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the respondent no.5, i.e. the District Commandant, Home Guard, Sheikhpura, for redressal of their aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

5. It is needless to state that in case appropriate representations are filed by the petitioners, before the respondent no.5, i.e. the District Commandant, Home Guard, Sheikhpura, within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be considered, in accordance with law and a reasoned and

5. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
