2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Maheskhunt P.S. Case No. 289 of 2022 dated 04.12.2022 registered for the offences punishable u/s 341, 307, 364, 386 read with section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, five unknown miscreants are alleged to have abducted the son of the informant on the point of gun while he was returning to Maheskhunt. Further, it is alleged that the accused persons also demanded extortion money of Rs. 2,00,000/- from the informant and the said amount was deposited in the Bank Account of one Vikram
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42859 of 2024(2) dt.02-07-2024 2/3 Anand. Thereafter, miscreants left the informant's son near Narayanpur after payment of Rs. 2,00,000/- in injured condition. Accordingly, the present F.I.R has been lodged.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner is not named in the FIR. The name of the petitioner has transpired in this case only on the basis of confessional statement of the petitioner. There is no specific allegation against the petitioner. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. No T.I.P. has been conducted by the prosecution. The petitioner has three criminal antecedents as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 24.01.2024.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner and the period of custody, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Khagaria, in connection with Maheskhunt P.S. Case No. 289 of
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42859 of 2024(2) dt.02-07-2024 3/3 2022, with a condition/s:- (i). The petitioner is directed to remain physically present before the learned Court below on each and every date, failing which on two consecutive dates without reasonable cause, the bail bond of the petitioner is liable to cancelled.
