The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Udwantnagar P.S. Case No. 401/2014, registered for the offences punishable under Section 304B, 498A, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of Dowry & Prohibition Act.

The sister of the informant was married with Lalit Singh, son of the petitioner about seven years ago. The informant alleged that his sister has gone to her sasural one month ago. She was burnt to death by her husband and her in-laws. It is submitted that the petitioner is the father-in-law of the deceased. There is no specific allegation against the petitioner. Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.22063 of 2015 (3) dt.08-10-2015 2/2 accused Dipak Kumar Singh @ Dipak Singh, brother-in-law of the deceased has already been granted anticipatory bail vide order passed in Cr. Misc. No. 8757/2015.

Considering the facts that the petitioner is the father-inlaw of the deceased aged about 65 years and suffering from several diseases and marriage was solemnized seven years ago, the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhojpur at Ara in connection with Udwantnagar P.S. Case No. 401/2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr. P.C.
