JUSTICE JITENDRA MOHAN SHARMA ORAL ORDER 22-02-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel representing the State.

The petitioner wants to renew his prayer of bail, which was earlier rejected by order dated 30.03.2016 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 54526 of 2015 on the ground that the petitioner is in custody since 16.07.2015 and the trial has not been concluded within nine months as per order given earlier. The learned A.P.P. duly assisted by learned counsel for the informant, opposed the prayer of bail by submitting that the petitioner is the assailant and practically all the prosecution witnesses have been examined and only one Doctor has been left, who will be examined very soon.

No.6550 of 2017 (2) dt.22-02-2017 2/2 In the facts and circumstances stated above, finding no good ground for reconsideration of prayer of bail, again the prayer of bail of the petitioner stands rejected. However, again the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, failing which, if the petitioner at no fault, may renew his prayer for bail.
