JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 20-01-2015 The petitioner has been proceeded under section 504 of the Indian Penal Code in G.R. Case No.589 of 1990 arising out of Triveniganj P.S. Case No.66 of 1990 dated 22.8.1990.

The offence is compoundable and both the parties have filed compromise petition for compounding of offence. Counsel for other sides is also present and raises no objection.

In this view of the matter, the order taking cognizance as well as criminal prosecution arising out of Triveniganj P.S. Case no.66 of 1990 is quashed.

In the result, this application is allowed.
